Inquiry project
For my inquiry project I have done it on bigfoot, here is my presentation.
Narrative writing
Throughout 4 weeks our class has been work on narratives. We got to chose what our story was based on. I chose to do my on a made up halloween story. Here it is,
Halloween Scare
In a village called Johnsonville just in the country from Bucksnort, three boys are going trick or treating. There names are Steven, Jonathan and Jimmy. They planned to go around the villages community. For their costumes Steven is going as a clown, Jonathan is going as a vampire and Jimmy is going as a ghost. They all planned to stay at Jonathan’s house that sits on the outskirts of Johnsonville next to a forest. The boys decided to go trick or treating at 5:00 and go for about three hours. “Last house!” Jimmy said excitedly
“YAY! then we can go and eat our lollies” announced Jonathan ding dong! as the doorbell alarmed “Trick or treat!” the boys said loudly.
Around ten minutes later the boys were at Jonathans house and all stuffed with sugary lollies. “We should go make a hut in the forest,” said Steven,
“That’s a good idea.” said Jimmy, so the boys gathered up torches, food, a pocket knife, some rope, then off they went. It was around 8:30 at that time the sky was pitch black the moon was full with the stars out and not a sound in sight. As they trekked off into the woods they found a grassy spot for the hut to go, they were deciding what kind of hut to make and looked back to see that Steven had mysteriously disappeared. “Steven!” Jonathan shouted. After a few more shouts he didn't come back so they went off to find him. With beaming torches shining on the trees and bushes and scaredly looking around them, they suddenly heard a bush rustled behind them, then out of nowhere a clown came leaping out of behind it “RUN!!!” shouted Jimmy as the boys shot off, Jonathan said “Let's run back to my house!” as the clown got closer and closer the boys ran faster and faster. ”There’s your house” said Jimmy exhaustively. As they reached the house they looked behind them to see that the clown had gone. As the boys crawled their way into the living room door sitting on the couch was Steven. Confused and tired out the boys went to bed scared.
The next morning the boys awoke to the sweet smell of waffles. As the boys sat down on the table Steven added “I have something to say, you know last night when the clown chased you guys,” the boys were confused “How did you know about that,”
“Well... it was me.”
“Stephen!” the boys said angrily
“You played another one of your pranks on us again, didn't you.”
So after the big scare Jimmy and Jonathan never ever went trick or treating ever ever again.

Maths Probability Game
Today in maths we played a probability game.
How it works
You have a group of people and you have 12 snails a person chooses 1 or 2 of them. You have a board and you put the snails on them then you roll the two dice. Then you move your snail up the chart until 3 snails have crossed the line. After that you record the 1st 2nd and 3rd places 1st get 5 pnts 2nd get 3 pnts and 3rd gets 1 pnt. You have to play the game a least 5 times, the winner is the pnts with the most pnts.
Results:
First game 1st- 10 Sofia 2nd-7 Henry 3rd Henry
Second game 1st-7 Sofia 2nd- 9 Oscar
In our games 7-6-89 had the most chance of winning because the dice goes up to 6 and 1 had no chance because there were 2 dices. Also 12 had an unlikely chance because you had to get doubles also 11 because it was so high on the dice.
Update:
From this table below I have learnt that there is a 1 in 6 chance of rolling a double
